Susie, a recovery support worker from Orbost, she helps her clients discover the opportunities that can be hidden in mental illness.

Susie has been a Recovery Support Worker in Orbost for the past two years.

Susie says she enjoys helping her clients discover the opportunity that can be hidden in mental illness – the opportunity to carefully consider who they are, who they want to be, and what they want in their life – something that many people never take the time to do.

Susie enjoys supporting her clients to figure out what they want and find ways to make it happen, step by step, day by day.  Susie believes that every person’s story has something to teach the community, and she enjoys the privilege of listening to the diversity of stories clients bring through the door at within Australia.
